Die „Foundation of International Accordion Exchange“ (FIAE) mit Sitz in Trossingen, die sich die Förderung von jungen talentierten AkkordeonspielerInnen, sowie die Bekanntmachung von Akkordeonmusik im klassischen Bereich als Ziel gesetzt hat – veranstaltete in Meran zwei Konzerte im Castel Fontana (Brunnenburg) sowie dem Palais Mamming. Beide Orte zeichnen sich durch ein spezielles Ambiente aus und vermitteln den Zuhörern eine besondere Konzertatmosphäre. Ursprünglich wurde der Verein im Sommer 2017 gegründet, um einer Studentin aus einem Nicht-EU-Land ein Studium in Deutschland zu ermöglichen.

Bodnar Sernesi
Im heurigen Jahr wurden die Konzerte vom Quartett des Hohner-Konservatoriums in Trossingen „Musica in fiore“ und dem Duo Anna Bodnar (Akkordeon) und Andrea Sernesi (Violencello gestaltet. Das Quartett besteht aus Michael Ziegler, Juliana Kraus, Nils Aebersold und Karla Gvozden (alle Klasse Andreas Nebl) und erschafft durch die Verbindung von alter Musik (Werke von Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Dvorak, Boellmann sowie einer Originalkomposition von Aebersold) mit dem modernen „Akkordeonsound“ ein einzigartiges Klangerlebnis und Neuinterpretationen von höchster Aktualität: originalgetreu in der Partitur – neu in der Instrumentation. Anna Bodnar (Klasse Ivano Battiston) und Andrea Sernesi studierten beide am Konservatorium l. Cherubini in Florenz, absolvierten zahlreiche Studienaufenthalte bei berühmten Meistern ihrer Instrumente und nahmen erfolgreich an internationalen Wettbewerben teil. In ihrem Programm mit Werken von Bach, Frescobaldi, Vaughan Williams und Piazzolla begeisterten sie das Publikum durch ihre musikalische Reife sowie ihr harmonisches Spiel.
Die „Foundation of International Accordion Exchange“ strebt für die Zukunft an, ein internationales Netzwerk von Studierenden, Dozenten und Unterstützern aufzubauen bzw. zu pflegen, damit das klassische Akkordeon auf Dauer vermehrt zur angemessenen Anerkennung in der Öffentlichkeit gelangen wird.
FIAE concerts in Merano
 The „Foundation of International Accordion Exchange“ (FIAE), based in Trossingen, which aims to promote young, talented accordion players and to promote accordion music in the classical field, organized two concerts in Merano in the Castel Fontana and the Palais Mamming. Both locations are characterized by a special ambience and convey a special concert atmosphere to the audience. The association was originally founded in the summer of 2017 to enable a student from a non-EU country to study in Germany.
This year, the concerts were performed by the quartet of the Hohner Conservatory in Trossingen „Musica in fiore“ and the duo Anna Bodnar (accordion) and Andrea Sernesi (violencello). The quartet consists of Michael Ziegler, Juliana Kraus, Nils Aebersold and Karla Gvozden (all class Andreas Nebl) and creates a unique sound experience and new interpretations of the highest topicality by combining old music (works by Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Dvorak, Boellmann and an original composition by Aebersold) with the modern „accordion sound“: true to the original in the score – new in the instrumentation. Anna Bodnar (class of Ivano Battiston) and Andrea Sernesi both studied at the Conservatory l. Cherubini in Florence, completed numerous study visits with famous masters of their instruments and successfully participated in international competitions. In their program with works by Bach, Frescobaldi, Vaughan Williams and Piazzolla, they thrilled the audience with their musical maturity and harmonious playing.
The „Foundation of International Accordion Exchange“ aims to build and maintain an international network of students, lecturers and supporters in the future so that the classical accordion will gain more and more appropriate public recognition in the long term.
